Elephant Lake House

This existing summer party pad built in 1968 was a masterpiece of 60’s Mod architecture. It sports an abstract sculptural massing and an entry bridge across the sloping site. The house was entirely updated with a new kitchen, bathroom, heat exchanger, insulation, sheet rock, cedar siding, and roof. Extensive cedar decks were added to capture the view of the lake, and new glazing was punched into the structural plank walls to further open the house to views. The breezy feel maintains an air of casual refinement and sophisticated fun.
