Hurlburt Farm

This late 18th century farmhouse and barn overlooks a meadow with cows and woods in the distance. For the main house, a well-functioning but compact new kitchen was carved into a tight space, and an old potting shed was converted into the principal bedroom. The back side of the barn was cut open and large glass panels were affixed to the existing heavy timbers opening up to a stunning view of the rolling hills. The barn was then insulated and heated, providing a charming entertaining space.
